I'm planing on getting a 94+ integra and slaping a vtec head on it.

My question is does that reset the milage on the motor to zero ???

i mean i know the head will be used, and the block will be old.

but pratically would it be a new motor since i'll have to re-direct the oil lines and ****.

 

it is definately not a new motor. the block still has the same wear on it, as does the head. ls/vtec is also very much less reliable than a stock engine.

 

I agree with the first part, and would say it'll be reliable up to a point. Definately not new though.
