Door Locks Switch only works sometimes...
Sup, I just recently got my DC5 2 days ago. Its a 02 type S. Problem ive been having is my door locks switch on the door panel only works sometimes... when I press it up its supposed to unlock and down is to lock am i correct? Sometimes when I press the switch nothing happens... This causes me to leave my hatch unlocked. Is there some other way to lock the hatch with like the key or something? What could be this problem? My actuators or wiring? Bad fuse? Also my keyless entry remote dosent do anything. It dosent set any alarm and when I press any of the buttons nothing happens... How can I fix this?
First thing you should do is trouble shoot with a power tester. I'd check power and then check your relays. I hate electrical issues. Test the actuator out also.
Troubleshoot like Spaz says about. Your keyless remote may not be programmed to the car as well. It's fairly simple to reprogram it to your keyless.

If the actuator doesn't work the door won't lock and the alarm won't set. It's probably an actuator. A minor pain to replace but it can be done by most people. Should take 30 mins per side.
