Which h22 intake maifold would you pick?
I am going to buy an aftermarket intake manifold. Either Skunk2 pro series manifold or a Golden Eagle which would you pick and does anyone know what whp each put down on a stock h22?
Euro R... is what I run on all my hybrids... turbo and not...
The Skunk2 just has too long of runners for most hybrid swaps roughly 2"+ longer... EG/EK/DC and especially the EF...even had issues in the prelude 4th gens...
Euro R is roughly 1/2" shorter then stock in length and for the hybrids will need the IACV relocation kit to mount it under the plenum
Rosko Racing does all the modification needed to get them to fit and is around 6 bills, modified and blinged out...

For a stock motor i'd either go with the Euro R or the Skunk (is this going in a prelude?). GE i'd say is too big on a stock motor.
I haven't seen a dyno yet where I thought the K mani was a worthy option of its 600-900 price tag when said and done. Think last time saw a 2 hp increase? Not to mention fitment issues...
I would recommend the euro-r on a stock h22 also.
It has been done many times with great results.

Yea I only got 1 pic from the first job I did. I recently went to a 70mm tb and did lot more porting and polishing from the tb down to the start of the runners.
Dyno-ing should be done next week, we'll see how much a difference it made. There's plenty of pics of porting your stock mani online. IMO from what I've seen, Euro-R isn't all it's cracked up to be for the money.

That will give you power up top, but I can almost guarantee you are losing out on the low end and probably some in the mid range. It all depends on where you want the power. Most people seem to prefer the ported Euro-R because it gives you a broad powerband with still some decent gains up top.

Mike541 I also did the same port job you pictured and also added a spacer to mine as well, it was a nice gain, dont have any dyno graphs to prove it, just could feel it. I have basic bolt ons and BC stage 2 cams
I'm going to be switching from the S2 to a golden eagle or similar style large plenum manifold.
I'm somewhat more than stock though ...
On my H2b I don't have an intake mani ...
