Default trans fall out.

Ok so here s some background on the car b17 t70 turbo 5spd hydro gsr trans.

Took the car to the dyno the other day did 2 hours on the dyno which was about 34miles on the dyno we got the car tuned and all turned out great had good turnout.

So i trailer the car back home which was 175 miles from the dyno shop. unload the car drive it to my house 20 miles from where i dropped my trailer off at the barn. So i drive it to work this morning which did about...28miles one way, did great on the highway i didn't take it over 80 speed limit is 70. didn't hot rod it or anything i was just cruisin.

So i down shift to get off the interstate to slow down, the red light is about 1/4 mile off the exit. so im just slowing down, I take off at the red light and it feels like something is out of Balance. I pulled over checked my bolts holding the trans to the block, checks the axles, checked a few other things. everything seems fine. I started driving it was doing fine until I hit 40 MPH then it started shaking really bad.. so i pushed the clutch in and reved the engine to make sure it wasn't engine problems.. Rpms when up and came back down fine no misses or anything so at this point i know its the trans. So i pull into this fire station because im in a bad part of town, as im pulling in I loose all power to the trans feels like it slipped out of gear. No gears work now.

Any ideas? and yes there was fluid in it.

I would check the axles first as this is easy. Then move on to your blown differential or stripped pinion.

Either way, what is your Forced Induction question? This thread would be better suited in the Transmission Forum.

Sounds like your Differential or Final Drive is chewed up. You will have to split the case apart and check the gears. IF you need a new diff, I have one I can get to you for cheap.. I may have a Gsr final drive also.
