Just bought 07 Civic Si sedan
screw the progress bar...nothing against it or progress...if you want to improve handling get hfp suspension for around 300 bucks. that will increase your handling exponentially. also there is an airbox mod that can be done to increase the sound of the engine especially at the vtec crossover point. idk if it actually provides more power but it certainly takes the bra off those ****. if youre into lighting there are oem ambient lighting kits that can be added. if you want a switchblade key there are those aswell. But my first were polishing my shift **** because it scratches easy and then changing my transmission fluid while doing a clutch job...ive done all that in the past month...i aswell bought an 07 fa5 coming from an 01 gsr this was a weird transition....btw when i changed my trans fluid it was black as hell....shifting greatly improved afterwards...duh

Another good suspension mod is an adjustable camber kit, and get a custom alignment with more negative camber in the front than back.
Also, why would your tranny fluid be dark? I've never seen dark tranny fluid before. Nothing's burning in the tranny, so it shouldn't turn black like motor oil does.
A rear sway bar is probably the most bang for the buck mod you can get. I haven't driven an Si with a bigger sway bar, but my bro's '98 Integra drives like a completely different car after an RSB. Seems like it made a bigger difference than the aftermarket shocks and springs he has.

Thanks everyone for their insights, really appreciate it!!! I came down to the conclusion that I am going to Skunk2 it out....starting off with the Skunk2 coilovers...
Skunk2 just because I have some buddies that have gone with that brand and are pretty happy...would you suggest something else?
I would do flashpro but probably after I did some mods first. But how much you get Flashpro?

As for Flashpro, that'll be one of my first mods if/when I get another Si. Besides getting rid of rev-hang at higher RPM, you'll gain a bunch of mid-range power. I remember looking at dyno graphs comparing stock motors, one with the stock ECU and one with Flashpro, and the one with Flashpro had gains of up to 25HP in the mid-range. Too bad you don't gain peak HP, but it should still be a noticeable difference when driving the car.
