Default Fixed one issue...another one arises

Okay so I finally replaced my u-joints today...and what a pain in the ***. One of them was completely rusted inside the caps and all bearings were seized. Took a lot of skilled work with the handy Dremel to get it off. Now my CRV doesn't shake anymore - YAY!!!

However, now my engine is making a 'whining' noise when the clutch is disengaged(when my foot isn't on the clutch pedal). The noise almost sounds like a loose belt, however it isn't and seems to be coming from the transmission. Has anyone ever heard what a bad clutch bearings sound like?

Also...while taking off the rear sway bar to upgrade to the Addeco sway bar, one 12mm bolt on each side of the sway bar broke. Anyone have any good suggestions as to what to try to remove these? I was thinking using left-handed drill bits but if anyone else has a better idea I'm all game.

You replaced the u-joints on the propeller shaft? I wasn't aware that was possible...

I've got that same noise. Some suyog it's the pilot bearing, some the release bearing, some say the bearing at the end of the counter shaft. I guess illfind out when I do a clutch.

From what I've gathered many say it's the Input Shaft bearing inside the tranny itself. According to everyone:

Clutch pedal floored = Throw out bearing
Clutch pedal up = Input shaft bearing

But I'll wait till next year before I do anything. My tranny still shifts smoothly, no grinding, and it's not making any horrific noises yet like many have described on here so I guess I still have some time before having to take it apart and dissecting it.
