My pilot have 50000 miles ,i have made adjust the engine valvs and it still have that noise,one mechanic said's it was my timing belt tensionner,i like to know if i am the only one with this kind of problem.

check the spark plugs they tend to back out and sound like rod knock.

Finally the problem is a piston is loose in the cylinder so i have to rebuilt the engine,i am very diapointed
