Default F22B6 block with VTEC head?

Hey guys, I have a 97 accord with the F22B6 and auto tranny. My head gasket is going bad so I decided this would be a good opportunity to swap for a VTEC head! My only problem is I'm not sure which head would make the most power without burning up the engine. Because I know the rev limit on these heads are all different unless I went F22B1 VTEC. Besides that though, what head would be best for my B6 block?

Well I noticed that the spark plugs on my B6 engine are on the firewall side of the engine and on the B1 they're on the opposite side?
