Cruised the forums and couldn't find a solid answer...problem...worn passenger side axle. Mechanic quickly realized stock 97 civic axle wouldn't fit, difference of about 2 inches in length of axle... doesn't know which part to buy. Motor and tranny are JDM B18C (head stamped 96'). Will any 94-01 teg passenger axle work? Or do I need to buy B-series "Swap Axles" from Hasport or Innovative Mounts?

 

any b-series 94-00 ls/gsr/b16 hydro axle will work

 

Whats even the point or purpose behind the "Swap Axles" from Hasport or Innovative Mounts? From the few things I could find on forums it sounds like there is some reason modification or special axles are needed because of length when replacing axle on 96-00 civic w/ B18C swap? just dont want to buy teg axle and find out the second time it doesn't fit and spend money or wasted labor! lol.

 

...mechanic is ordering an axle for 97 integra today to put in tomorrow morning...
