Default fog lights

What do you guys reccomend for some good fog lights? I like the OEM ones, but my 94 ex coupe came with some broken ghetto *** ones that I took off. Also, where does the switch go for the OEM fog lights? Thanks guys.

If you get a oem fog light I am sure it will come with a switch.
But If you know how to hook up the wires to parking light, you dont need a switch at all.
I like the oem foglight but they often freakin expensive, so I cheap out
with autozone stuff.

Not sure of the price but I do know that http://www.procarparts.com sells two kinds of OEM fogs. One of them is a clear color and the other is a blue ion color. Both kits come with everything you would need(OEM switch, wiring, housing, and bulbs). I believe the switch you would mount on the right side of the clock, on the 5th gen at least. Not real sure but thats how it looks to me.

Ok, just went onto ProCarParts and got the prices.

OEM-style ion blue fog lights $74.95
OEM-style clear fog lights $82.95

As I said above; all wiring, interior on/off switch, housings, and bulbs are included.

Hey thanks for all the info man. I was just thinking how having the fog light switch closer to the passenger side than the driver side is kinda odd... I wonder if the rear defrost switch could be interchanged w/ the foglight switch; I think that would be more logical.

these are replacement BULBS when your bulbs die for the OEM fog lights.
They will give it the crystal clear white, instead of the yellowish white so you can macth your HID look headlights

What color do these come out as when the fog light is turned on? Is the blue ion really blue, or does the beam look like a white color like my friends (tenzo something with blue color on the outside but white beam). Does the clear light look yellowish or is it actually clear/white? I really need a set since my damn pullies make my lights dimmer. About to snow here too.

Thanks guys

The ION Coated ones put out Yellow light and the Clear ones put out white light. But get some H3 Xenons for both.. they have glass lenses on these fog lights so they wont melt. Both are very good fog lights I have the clears. Also the switch mounts above your Stereo, next to your clock, there is either a blank switch slot there or a RED LED. Its easy to install them too. Lastly ProCarParts.com sells stuff from their inventory on eBay including these fog lights, about 20$ cheper, search for 'em theyre there trust me.

Am I correct to say that the 94-95 OEM fog lights are different than the 96-97 ones? Or are they the same?

I thought about this and don't see why you can't but I think if I end up doing it I'll just put it on the passenger side and leave it at that.

I think the ion blue have a blue look to them when you look at them from the front but from behind I think the beam would have a more white look to it but don't quote me on that cause I'm sure about that or not. Personally I would just go with the clear cause like Iam7head said my friend also got pulled over about a year ago for having a blue tint to his fogs, and that was here in Michigan where it seems some people get away with some wierd chit.
