Default tuning/ecu questions

i have a 93 accord with a h22 swap stage 1 cam I/H/E.
I have been tuning my own set-up i have a ostrich 2.0 and a hulog extreme. tuning with chrome. basically what afr's are you guys going with on cruise/WOT/idle?
iv been trying for 14-15 cruise
and 11-12 WOT
havent done much idle tuning

Also how do you add a knock board from a p72(i think, its a GSR ecu) to a p06

11-12:1 at full throttle on a naturally aspirated engine setup like yours is too rich.
Shoot for 12.8-13.2:1 at WOT
14-15 cruising is fine...

Using a knock board is pointless. The knock sensor picks up false knock signals on a bseries setup.

low 12s on NA is hella rich...try to make a pull at 4th gear so you can get good averaging on your datalog of your afr. and adjust from there... try to target 13.0...

knockboards are useless. dont trust them. plug read instead and do it on a dyno so you will know the best ign curve for your engine w/o pinging

well knockboard would be nice just for a piece of mind, in case it gets bad for some reason, and how do you read plugs for that?

You can't just hook up a knock board to a P06. Try searching for info on tuning using Det cans.

As for reading spark plugs....it is a very reliable way to determine timing, spark plug heat range and AFRs. A wideband is only good for AFRs. As far as the colour of the plugs go. You don't want any black on the ceramic portion of the plugs. It should be a light brown/tan.

yes iv heard of det cans but its not something that i could just leave in the car. Cause all of us that do our own tuning, something can always be messed with, there is always something that could be a little better. thats why i want a knock board, i know they arent awesome, but it helps

Seriously? Go out and buy yourself a PR3, P30, P61 or P72 and chip it! IMO that would be the easiest and least expensive way for you to hook up a knock board.
