On my 99 CR-V, front doesn't have one of course, and my rear sway the end link is broken, and the sway itself looks like its rusting away and about to turn to ashes. Figure if I have to replace the rear anyway, I'd do it with something more stout because I can't stand how flexy wexy the car feels at times.
Personally I have used suspension techniques on 3 different cars and never had one issue. Bushings were good, endlinks were all good quality.
you dont have a front sway bar on your 99V?? i have 3 99 too all have the front sway bar and their
"meaty" i think 24mm?? but the rear is kinda thin.... i did use addco rear sway bar a good replacement
and its bolt on.. not much of modding needed, i was messing aroung w/ a spare suspension techniques
from my civic at one time and it does need some fabbing and modding to make it work... i also
tried to see if a s2k's rear sway bar would work, slight off but if ever im gonna do the modding
and fabbing i think the s2k's is a much better option than the civic.....
good luck on your hunt! i do suggest get the oem one in front and just get addco for the rear
but if your in a good mood to experiment then do what ive been trying to set, just keep us updated!

or rather one on the shock tower, not the one under the car that is. I figure I could fit one there as well.

Any front strut bar(the one under the hood) will work. just remember that you will run into clearance issue if your still using the stock intake manifold. I highly suggest one. Made a noticeable difference with mine. I modified a civic rear strut bar to work with our V's and its very noticeable as well. But i had to constantly remove it for hauling **** in the back.
Addco rear sway bar is the way to go. you have to trim the bushings a bit to get it on there but otherwise, was a great investment.

Heres mine

Moog endlinks are the biggest i've found but not by any means the cheapest. Proforged is almost the same size but a lot cheaper.

my other fear is that my bolts are so rusty that I might snap one trying to remove it. I don't know how stout they are but I know they're pretty rusted up.
