i have a tanabe racing medallian on my eg civic
with a b18c1 and had a straight pipe on it but the state made me take it off for inspection. They had to cut it off to get the cat on
now i want to put a new straight pipe on and went to http://www.testpipes.com but do not know what size to put on.
2.25, or 2.5 for an all motor set up

 

what size is the rest of your piping? Go with that

 

First off....how often do you have state inspections? Personally I'd leave a cat on the car, but if you insist on removing it...measure the diameter of the exhaust and then go from there.

 

the header is a 2.5 but the exhaust i dont know the measure ments so i have to check does anyone know the measurements of the tanabe racing medallian?
i ct inspection got shut down for 2 years
so im good for a while it was a dmv road block that gave me a ticket for the exhuast
so i took off the whole piping and put on the stock muffler
when i put on the tanabe it never had a cat in the 1st place.
when time comes again i just throw on the stock one again
