my car is automatic for some reason it is stuck in drive but its not hard to move it kinda of just slides along through the shifter positions. I can put the shifter in park and/ or reverse and it still pulls foward so i have no park or reverse and the shifter linkage appears to be fine after looking at it. Does any one know what is causing this problem? someone said its my transmission?

 

also i have to use my e brake in order to park my car
