Ok so i have a customers car in my shop i have done many swaps this is the first time i have ever ran into this issue myself or noone i know what the hell it is so ill give this a shot.


The car is a 94 db8 with a 95 gsr customer bought the car as a shell it was stolen. i picked the car up from him along with motor and everything to install. he wanted it back to 100% stock since its his dd. so i have everything installed i went to start it it fired right up i let it idle to get oil pressure and such i reved it and it bounces off what sounds like a rev limiter at like 900rpm-1200rpm it throws a tps code i installed a brand new tps adjusted it right checked volts and all im stumped at this point i have checked all my grounds ohmed all the woires evrything checks out has brand new o2 new dizzy new tps map is good the customer did delete the iacv and the gsr surge tank i can post a video if need too ill will be so happy if someone can help me out with this.

How old is the gas?

 

did you maybe get the tps connector mixed up?

 

code 7 is TPS, change it and adjust it to the correct voltage.

 

So i decided to pull the throttle body back off and the prongs in the throttle body that alin the tps sensor were bent i have never ever seen that and ive done 100+ hondas i put a new throttle body on it and it runs like new
