I have 92 gsr teg that the reverse lights and tail lights will not go off.
any advice?

 

I would unplug the reverse switch on the trans and see if the rev lights go out.

 

where is that switch located on the trans. top or bottom
im new to the import scene

 

front bottom of transmission if your looking at it from the front of the car.

 

thanks, ill look into that. maybe thats whats killin my battery
on a second note, every know and again it dosen't want to start when you push in the clutch to and turn the key nothing happens. you have to try multiple times

 

no turning over or anything?

 

nothing at all.

 

could be ignition switch going out or possible starter.

 

ill try looking into those things, ive got it tore apart at the moment.

do you know where to find a wiring diagram for this year car, it dosen't have p/s or a/c but has all the wiring, would like to wire tuck or get rid of what i dont need

where is a good place to get quality parts for this gen car? that aren't over priced

 

Change the switch make sure the wires have not been spliced and switched

 

oem parts stick with the dealership

 

thats another problem. this thing is a wiring nightmare. bought it wrecked and getting it back together from where they started.

 

what about aftermarket stuff?
