Default Will lowering my car with coils give me alignment issues?

hey guys so I have a 08 civic that I recently purchased and I was thinking of lowering it.

But the thing is I was wondering can it be aligned? Im new in the car game so please bear with my questions lol

The reason I ask is because my buddy has a 2010 corolla and he lowered his on coilovers and when he took it to the toyota dealer ship it says they cannot align it because of a "SOLID REAR AXLE BEAM" as a result his rear toe was in the .55 range. The specified range was .01 to .26

so I was wondering if I do lower my car will I face the same problem he has??

also if anyone here who worked on cars/suspension could offer me any advice for him as well that would be nice!

1st where do you live? Not your address general area, i.e. So Cal. This is to help find a reputable shop in your area.

2nd .01-.26 that's a huge tolerance IMO.

3rd you should try to find a race alignment shop that can install and corner balance the car. Try and find a hand alignment place not laser as they allow for those huge tolerances which are really no good. This should give you peace of mind.

4th read the sticky at the top on suspension. And don't get D2's. Starting Out I would suggest the Progress cs2. Idk if they make them for your vehicle but they are a great starter suspension. At a great price.

If I can help more I will.
