eg civic coupe w/ b20 build thread (its her 1st honda)
My friend Sam recently bought a civic coupe automatic with a blown single cam motor Her plan was to find a 5 speed integra to swap everything over. The body on the coupe is fairly straight with very little honda rust. It is covered with dirt and grime, it has been sitting 3 years.
Well, we wound up finding her a 95 Integra with a bad transmissin. the body on the integra was really rough so taking it to the scrap yard wont be a problem. It was cool to find a b20b4 in the integra instead of the original b18. I know its a little less horse power but hopefully with the torque it will get good mileage.

5 speed conversion. was a lot easier than we thought. We're just going to buy the conversion mount so we dont have to drill and weld the ears for the mount. So far a really fun build, only have a few hours total invested in this build.
Josh and I getting the motor ready. All new gaskets and seals, timing belt and water pump. Everything is gonna be new on this one.
Now all we need is a good transmission and this car will be on the road. We (josh and sam mostly, i just hosed it off) washed the hell out of this couple yesterday. I'm going to try to take some pics of it tonight to show you how clean it is.
I have an eg hatch that I'm trying to restore right now, https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/civic-hatch-project-car-build-thread-3076230/. I have to get sams car done 1st because its going to be her daily driver. Hopefully I can get started on my hatch again here in the next few days. Or we might be able to get some stuff done to it while we are looking for a transmission. If you know of any good b series hydro transmissions, let us know.

Should be a nice ride my car had a b20 in it when I bought it but it took a dump the same day and now it has a ls motor look forward to more Picts.
and being 16 I was quite impatient and getting pissed off a lot dealing with rusty bolts and other things and taking breaks. It was satisfying when we were done. I knew it was done right!
we were totally going to swap the front and rear brakes but decided not too because of all the rust under the integra. pretty much every bushing would need replaced and this is a budget build. she has less than 1000 in it so far.
This is the engine bay after cleaning, I'd say she did a pretty good job. I didnt take any pics of the outside of the car after the wash because i think it could use a really detailed buff/wax job. Its clean now but you can still see the remnants of the grime that was on it. Brake clean and a rag wouldnt even get it off.
Nice build so far. Only if yall were closer... I got my b16 sol forsale and you could rip the stick shift out and put on her car or build this one.
NIce

This was really my first time doing something major to a car. So I took my time and learned a lot. My buddy was very smart with cars so he taught me a bunch of stuff that night. So thats why it took so long.
