Okay well, as ya can tell i wouldnt be new to honda-tech if im not asking questions, but i am. Okay my question i got here is i have a d16y8 in it right now and the only engine i can get my handds on at the moment is a B20b. Can i work on a B20b and get results in performance out of my car ?

A straight b20 or are you talking about putting a vtec head on there? It's not worth it to put a straight b20 in, I didn't realize people did that. A USDM b20b would be about 126bhp which is almost the same as your d16y8. You would gain torque but I would never put a stock b20 swap into my car.
