You will do fine with drag radials. Slicks is overkill.

Go with Mickey Thompson drag radials. Do not get BFG.

ok sounds good.. what size do u recommend for my f22 w/h23 trans? my stock tire size is 195/60 15 - i ws thinking 205 50 15 since my ex rim width in only 5.5 (sad) and thats all i have at the moment

how about a falken azenis??

May I ask why you want drag radials or slicks? If you're going to like AutoX (sounds like this isn't the case) just having a stickier tire is more than sufficient. Given the lack of power in the car I don't think you really need to go all out. The car runs IIRC like mid to high 14's with an H22 swap.

fair question muffin man, my car used to be boosted before my rebuild, paint etc.. my new motor and trans will be boosted in the next 4-6 weeks so im tryin to get some baselines before to compare with later.. while this motor only has intake, 3" kteller, portmatched IM & head clutch/flywheel it actually hauls compared to a stock accord. so i just wanna get the best times possible now is all im trying to achieve..

so if u can recommend a stickier street tire that will work also, azenis? v700 kumho etc.... i am actually a tire dealer and have been for 7 years but i wanna see what the accord guys have had success with..

i have done tons of racing but with my civics and turbo se-r... not much track racing with my accord... so gimme some insight as i know u can help me the most of all here on h-t. thanks

btw i bought ur old odysssey pc680 and an intake i believe a few years back in case u dont remember me

edit: whats IIRC?? i see that everywhere and im cant figure out that anno gram

Ah fair enough, figured I'd ask before you go out and spend money on drag radials/slicks to run 15's

Dunlop Direzza StarSpecs are a very nice tire with the Hankook RS3's being their cheaper alternative. Loads more grip from those guys than stock tires. I personally have the RS3's on my S2000 and have loved them so far. They have a bit softer of a sidewall than the StarSpecs so for driving around they're a bit more comfy.

I can't remember the tire sizes I had, but if you're thinking about going wider I'd suggest checking this site: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

You can enter stock and new tire sizing to get the difference in actual size and speedometer. Are you going to be rocking aftermarket wheels or stockers? With the ITR wheels I had (15x6 I think?) I think I used 215/50?

And very nice memory! I didn't remember that, hopefully it's all treating you well!

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly

haha good info man!! im torn now cuz i posted this in the drag racing section and i am also leaning towards 22x8x15 MT slicks as mentioned by a lude owner in that thread.. also i know i can get a pair of acura cl 5 spoke 15" wheels at the JY near me for $40 bucks.. are those 15x6 or 6.5"??

and i used the pc680 for about 3 years(~40k miles) and i bought a new one now! lol... and ur intake i used on my turbo setup i used to have which is in the first pages of my build thread in my sig..

and im thinking of going J series now.. ive been OBSESSED with it and reasearching like mad the last two weeks. i wake up / go to sleep working it out, driving wifey madder than usual haha

What are your plans. If for drag strip then no the falken azenis are terrible. Go with Mickey Thompson drag radials. 205/50/15 is fine ffor that small of a width. Again slicks is overkill for your car.

If for auto cross or course driving, you have several choices.
