The turn signal started acting up on the 1994 Honda Accord. We replaced the flasher control [Mitusba FR-3309 - Honda part number 38300-SE3-013].

The problem is the blinkers work when you turn them on left or right, but when the turn signal is turned off (IE turn complete or lane change complete and signal turned off) the “blinking noise” associated with the turn signal being on continues.

Also the right signal would not work (flash or make the “blinker noise”) until the car had traveled about a 1 mile or so but that seems to be taken care of with the first new flasher control. The "blinker noise" issue continued so we got another Mitusba flasher control.

Just put the second Mitusba part in and the turn signals work fine except the “blinker noise” continues, but this time only for a few times.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Does anyone know if I wire in an old style mechanical if it will work on this car ?
