EJ6 -- Hit curb, popped tire, busted driver axle - push car but won't budge
So i ran over a large curb mad out of jagged stone and popped my tire. Also the driver axel seemed to come out of its bearing? Basically its toast and i know i need a new one. I tried pushing the car but it wouldnt budge. Does this mean the tranny was affected, I can replace an axel but i really hope the tranny is ok.
Thanks in advance all

The car wouldnt move because there wasnt a wheel on it, I thought it would still roll with just 3. And this was the driver side wheel btw so im confused why that happened.
The axel was in bad shape but still drivable, i replaced it anyway.
Thanks for help, i was just worried i fd up my tranny but good thing not.
Quickest way to tell if something is bent is to simply look at the wheel.
Camber being off, toe, and the caster being screwed is a sure sign of bent parts.
How hard was the hit? I've never seen a civic bounce off a curb without considerable damage. (more then just a tire/axle.

The hit was slow like 5 mph but it busted my tire cuz of jagged bricks.
Would my camber be neg or pos after this incident?

I will try to get some pics up, i might just have my friend check my alignment though if you think that would be a good indicator whether there was significant damage or not.
The alignment will tell you. Sometimes you can't spot a bent part just from looking at it.
I know if my firends case, he said everything looked "ok" but when he went in for an alignment it was another story. He hit the curb a lot harder then you did though.
