Y7/Z6 mini me - What timing belt and head bolts do I use?
Hi im currently doing the y7 block z6 head mini me swap. Trying to do it on a low budget. I was reading up on it a little and a few places i was reading said i needed to get a timing belt for the z6 head. I was wondering if i had to or if i could just use the y7 belt since it was replaced only 15,000 miles ago. Was also wondering why i need to use one z6 head bolt. Im sure everyones sick of mini me questions but any help would be great. Thanks
okay so i ended up buying a new timing belt so thats out of the way but im still wondering why i need the z6 head bolt ive had over 100 ppl look at this post and not one person can tell me why i need to can someone help me out here. thanks.

There's one head bolt that's longer for the z6 head, that's why you need the different head bolts. I'm not sure if anywhere sells just the one head bolt though, you may have to buy them as a set. Good luck.
