94 Civic - blue smoke, smell fuel in cabin, rough idle
So I recently acquired my 94 civic sedan and it smokes....a lot .blue smoke and smell of fuel in the cabin with rough idle all of a sudden.just changed the pcv valve on the intake with no luck..mabey charcoal canister?i really don't want it to be piston rings but thats what the signs are pointing too.also I redline at 5500.is this normal?my ek redlined at 7200.was i just spoiled by the ecu or is something a miss.btw brand new dizzy bc it died the day after I got the car.also the fuel pump doesn't always prime.
^ above post. I had to do a head-gasket change on my Civic too, it was a PAIT but it doesn't seem like the same symptoms.
Is the engine timed right? Dizzy not too retard/advance, timing belt off a few teeth?
Blue Smoke = Oil
White Smoke = Coolant/Water
Black Smoke = Fuel

ok so i went old school and pushed down on the plug wires in the head and boom plug 3 starts doing smoke puffs....the mfer i got it from didnt tighten the spark plugs so i pulled all the wires out and tightened em.deleted my carcoal canister to find that the black box under the intake that the pcv valve leads to isnt pluged up so ill delete that next i guess
