b16 speed sensor in a b18 tranny??

Default b16 speed sensor in a b18 tranny??

ok guys i have been going through this for two weeks now and i just found out i have a b18 tranny omit my b16 engine. i didn't know this until i looked at the serial and it said s80 then i carfaxed the vin on the tranny and other came from a 1996 integra rs so my question is will a b16 speed sensor cause the speedometer not to work? should o buy a b18 speed sensor?? my speedometer/tripmeter/odometer are all not working. thanks for l the help in advance

no, it should still work. you're gonna have to check the wiring to make sure that isn't bad.

I checked the wiring to the speed sensor abduction got 4.7 volts
