Default Stripped oil pan hole

Hey guys, I have stripped the hole in the oil pan of my 98 civic si. It was dripping a bit of oil and I just wanted to give it a snug fit, but the bolt just kept turning.

What is the best way to fix this problem other than replacing the oil pan?

I was able to fix the problem. I just bought a 14X1.5 bolt; like the one from the oil pan, and just cut a little bit off smoothed off the burs on the end of the cut bolt, placed my basket over it and it fits and works like a charm.

they make piggy back plugs. basically its an oversized plug that you tighten in and it is never removed. than theres a smaller bolt in that permanent plug to drain oil. I currently have one on my99 civic.

Thanks Kickadog55; however, there was a crack around the oil pan hole so I had no choice but to replace the pan. Thank God for scrap yards, yo.
