Default Hawk race pads

Hi, I will like to know if the hawk dtc-60 front and hawk HP+ rear is a good setup. The car is a road race EF civic 89 around 2,100 lbs. Thanks.

Didnt search did you?
If you try this little trick you will find all kinds of information on brake pads.
Go to google... search brake pads, and use honda-tech in the search string.

There is such a plethora of information on all kinds of manufacturers and types its mind boggling.
A little reading will get you the information you desire.
If you dont read and post up something like Tires.. do i really need them?

I use the dtc60 on the front of both of the 92 civics I have.
One is a 160hp Honda Challenge H2 car with 160hp with Wilwood calipers and 11" corrado rotors, 2250 lbs with driver. They work great, zero fade, even after our annual 3hr enduro this past weekend.
The other is 350hp time trial car, with NSX calipers with 11" mini Cooper rotors, that setup will experience a little bit of fade on heavy braking tracks after about 7 hard laps.

Both cars use oem GSR calipers and rotors in the rear with axis ultimates which would be the equivalent of an HPS pad from hawk.

They're great because they're cheap and you can get them on Amazon.

Well, they're great until this happens.. over and over and over.

That's the Dynamic Material Location feature that some of their pads have...

All kidding aside, I've "heard" that this was fixed...
