crx with b18a1 swap slung rod bearing help

Icon2 crx with b18a1 swap slung rod bearing help

i have a obd0 b18a1 which recently slung a rod bearing, the crank is scared what is the best way to go with this? 1.find new crank or 2.get a machinist to fix it and what would i have to do after machinist fixes this?

Take the crank to a machinist, they can tell you if it is still within spec or if it will need to be turned down. If it needs turned down, you will have to buy oversized rod bearings from the parts store and then just put it back together.

one more question if i take the block to a machinist and get it bored, ill need to get bigger pistons? correct?

correct. more than likely you will need the pistons b4 you take the block to the machinist
