i have a 95 SE ,my car has 106,000 miles on it, it has a few problems like low and rough idle and a notchy shifter that sometimes grinds, i want to get the revhard stage 2 kit but i'm worried about realiabilty and life of the engine, so basically what asking as for you to give me some advice or convince me to buy the turbo, any of you have high mileage LS-T's??

 

well i'm not about turbo, but if your deciding on getting one do a compression and leak down test on your engine first.

 

many people have went turbo with alot of miles on their cars. i had 115,000+ on mine when i slapped on a DRAG3 kit.

do a compression test... then from there... youll know if your motor is good to go. the low-rough idle could just be a simple adjustment of a screw on your throttle body. little things like that, you can fix...

 

can all mechanics do a compression and leakdown test, or do you have to go to specific type of place?
