EK9 CTR LCA - eye type - where to buy???
Hey guys,
I search this high and low on google and on here... other than the ''made out of gold'' function7's LCA's I couldn't find anything else.
I called my local dealer and the guy over the counter probably got that job because he was to stupid to sweep the floor.
Anyone else running ITR/CTR coilovers on an EK? Where did you get your LCA's!!?!?!?!?
Thanks!

Function7's are not trash... they are however, much more expensive than most other LCA's around.
I fail to see where panties needed be bunched up over said fact?
In other news, anyone know where I could get replacement lower coilover shock mounts for a Cusco coilover set (from eye to fork mount)?
You don't know, you didnt talk to him... I did. Therefor, it would seem that you are in fact, the one talking trash without knowing.
But thanks for the help 8)

I SEARCHED for months, and eventually broke down and bought the Function7 ones. While I feel that rear LCAs are unnecessary, in this case, it is to get a type of shock that was not available from the factory onto the car. I ordered extra bushings just-in-case (but they didn't get shipped, ugh).
When I was putting my suspension in, I could not find any RAs (or equivalent) in the EG/EK mount, so I stepped up and ordered the F7s. I have 3 sets of suspension for an ITR, and I could justify the purchase so that I would not have to take a loss on them.
Hold on! You are using ITR rear LCAs on an EK? HOW????? They should be WAY too long.

I sold my F&F because I got a good deal on some Cusco's... the deal is now a little less sweet since I'll have to fork over $300 on some fancy LCA's.
Good on Function7's to actually make them though... glad I have an option.
I also thought about switching the lower mount from the Cusco's to a more regular fork type, anyone else ever did that?
Can you even buy that separatly? I know in the rally world (DMS) you can buy replacement parts.

3 sets of itr suspension. interested in getting rid of a whole rear conversion?
Well, I have stock ITR for winter time, and 6 front/4 rear Tein coilovers. I would love to find another pair of rear ITR Tein RAs, to be honest, then I would sell off the set of HAs that I have. I know they are older, but these are VERY good. I have been a Koni guy for a LONG time, but these do work.
I have 10K F / 14K R, and they are very well damped, at full soft. I know of guys going up to 20K+ on the rears, without revalving. they include spherical upper mounts, and are well made.
They are a little aggressive for the street, and will likely put in something softer in the rear to drive around with. There are some ITR setups around lately that I have seen. I would pick up a set of RAs or HAs, and be in love with them.
No worries. Sorry for jumping down your throat on it!
