Shouldnt be hard or expensive. You need to obtain a new line(Go to a junkyard) But get new orings. Install the new line. You "Should" replace the drier, as now that your system has been exposed to the atmosphere, your drier will be full of moisture. This is a cheap part($25), but you have to buy new(Also youll need to add some Pag oil to the drier, i think its like 3-4 oz). At this point you will need to have the system vacuumed down for about 30 minutes. Then close the valves and shut off the vacuum pump. It should maintain a vacuum. Wait another 30 minutes. If after 30 minutes you havent lost the vacuum, you have no leaks.
Youll need to add refrigerant at this point. ~2 cans is what you will need, but dont overfill, theres a sticker under your hood saying how much you need. My 3.0V6 takes 22oz.
If you dont have a vacuum pump or gauges, you can take it somewhere and get them to vacuum it down and fill it. I dont know how much people charge, call around. but, a set of gauges costs about $45 from harbor freight. Some people say you can rent vacuum pumps, some say you cant. or maybe borrow one.
