Default 97' Civic HX

Hi. Im new to the site and the community. This is my first real go at trying to mod cars in anyway. So any pointers would be amazing.
This is how I actually bought this car.
The engine bay is an absoult nightmare so I wont force you to look upon it.

Really simple and clean, nice coupe.
Paint the front bumper duct black like this:

To clean up the engine bay, I recommend grabbing a can of WD-40 and spraying it around. Don't spray directly into open parts though like on the alternator, distributor into the intake or anything.
If you need to paint the valve cover and heatshield here are some tutorials:

For wheels, check out Work Emotion CR Kai or the replica Drag DR-31's

I don't know the genuine wheel but these are Rota GT3's.

Of course though, there are many other wheels you can choose from but those two are my personal favorites on coupes if not Regamaster's or BBS/CCW meshes.
Here's a link to a bunch of other 6th gen (96-00) White Civic coupes for inspiration.

car looks decent already. agree a nicer set of wheels would help. but more importantly is the maintenance up to date? check or replace all the fluids, belts, air filter, fuel filter, gaskets and seals, brakes. also look into getting a professionally installed alarm. these cars a known to be targets

^ The one thing I missed, of all things.
Gib all your moneys to your cars reliability and performance before you focus on aesthetics. Cars are meant for transportation not clothing!

Thank you guys so much. And yes I keep all the maintenance up to date. Im just trying to save up for a b18 swap and hopefully shave the engine bay when I do that.

x2, keep it looking just the way it is ....try to stay far away from that ''hella-frush'' look too lololol, looks pretty much perfect as is, just a slightly nicer set of wheels.

Not sure if I really want to now after posting that haha. It was my original idea but I think, I am slowly changing my mind too maybe a lite wire tuck if anything.
