My 97 Civic hx is born!!
! Sorry if the pictures are big for some users !
Hey guys, I just got my first car today! I have to pay for most of it so I wont be modding right away but I do plan to keep it nice and CLEAN.
Info :: 1997 HX, 5-Speed, 25K Miles, 15in Alloy Wheels
I was also wondering how much hp my HX has. Anyone know?

Thats a very nice car especially its your first...I know you said you aint going to be modding it right away....
but an affordable mod is lowering it, just grab some springs such as H&R Sport and stock struts and you should be fine...
dont really spend much and your car will look 1000X better...
But again great first start

just some advice, when you mod your car i'd just go with a straight up engine swap. if you get i/h/e you will be lucky to get 5hp more. save a lot of time and trouble...

For simple mods i was thinking about tint, spoiler, k & n airfiler, and maybe tip. Maybe i need help on where to buy....

i can see that u are new to this whole thing.
1. Tip will sound like crap and doesn't do anything
2. stock spoiler wouldn't be too bad, anything else looks stupid.
3. and engine swap will give u anywhere from 30hp (B20,B18B), 50hp(B16A3), 60-70 (JDM B16, B16B, B18C1), 90hp(B18C5)
you got alot to learn man, all that cosmetic stuff ain't going to matter if your car is still slow as ****. forget about doing anything to the motor u have and get a swap. its the best way to get any results, just look at the numbers i just gave u.

Nice car. I have a 96 HX get a swap cuz this motor wasn't made for racing. I paid $6000 for mine with 50k miles on it so Good buy.
