Does anyone have any dyno sheets for the type s cams? Could you also give me any information you have or heard about them. Thanks.
They are generally considered to not be compatible with the US H22A head. The TypeS head has different valve angles than the the regular H22A head. Typical symptoms of Type S cams in a non-TypeS head are severe rocker arm wear and exaggerated wear on the cam lobes themselves.
I'm sure at least one person will now chime in with "Well, I have TypeS cams in my car for x years and xx,xxx miles, and I never had a problem." But I've seen the head damage the TypeS cams can do...

I put type-S cams in my 94 JDM h22a motor about a year ago and I have had no problems with them. This may because of it being JDM as apposed to the USDm head like the previous guy said but it has been fine. After the swap the car dyno'd at 168.5hp bone stock with I/E. Also I dyno'd my car with just the type-s cams and I/E and got 183.6 to the wheels without tuning. So for the $250 i paid for the cams it was a good deal.

There's a pair on Ebay for sale right now.
There is no typeS cam made in canada. Its a JDM part.
As for gains they are not that great for the cost, if your going to spend the money on a cam get and aftermarket set like crower, skunk2 or JUN. You will see more gains with those. Also it a good idea to replace you valve train when upgrading you cam.
Ive had my type s cams for a year now with 10000 miles on them. With TYPE S springs and retainers. I drive it hard as hella past redline alot, and i havent had any problems. Im not worried about it, but should i? If i had problems would i already had them by now?
