ITR spoon upgrades
not enough to justify paying all that money for the name, yes the filter is a decent oem filter replacement but certainly not a big performance part, the exhaust is pretty nice, the n1 can get noisy and decent for making power, but the street isnt to bad, but again not good for big power, the cams are pretty tame
what kind of power are you looking to make, and for what purpose ? with that info we can better help suggest parts

Thanks guys. You like the mugen exhaust. GSRguy bottleneck myself what do you mean. Does it get restrictive if you start making more power. I dont play on every putting a turbo on the thing the plan is to stay naturally aspirated for now and thoughts of a supercharger maybe but seems like a big pain in the ***
The Mugen TL is 2.36 in. If you get a nice header like a SMSP (2.5") you might as well get an exhaust to match. 2.5" exhaust can support decent power, putting 246 hp/150 tq through mine.
i made about 185whp and 123wtq with a pretty much stock internal (excluding cams) b18cr at raceline's dynojet. lol spoon cams and replica hytech header, aem 3 CAI, 2.5" exhaust. oh and rc 310 injectors if that does anythin lol.
hope that helps!

Probably not since the JDM ITR cat outlet isn't 2.5". Only the inlet from the header. 2.36" sounds about right to me. I Have a JDM R cat on my B18C swap.

I dont really know how to answer this question. I want to make reliable power that I build the motor once and want it to last just like it came off the factory line. I also want the power to be across the board not just high on the top end. I guess what I am looking for is a car geared more for a road racing track instead of a 1/4 mile if that makes since. I think that is the best way I could describe it.

I am not too surprised that nobody mentioned the header. I had both the Toda and the Spoon... I kept the Spoon header on my track caR if that is any indication.
ok i will look into the final drive. Spoon header made good numbers huh. Does it sit low or is the clearance pretty good. Havent seen many spoon headers around
Talk to Dave at SMSP for header/cat/exhaust as a basic entry to making power.
If you don't have a good exhaust (and intake flow) everything else is a bottleneck.

Hey dont try to score any jdm bonus cool points. Sure spoon makes power but for the money kinda not worth it. Get rmf header with a good 2.5 inch exhaust with a cold air intake with 3 inch v stack. Maybe use a spoon thermo to lower engine temp to improve efficiency. A cam that's close to spoon cam is skunk tuner 1 cams I think they'll give good results. High compression head gasket could help too. 10 lb flywheel with a
good stage 1 clutch and a dyno tune and youll have a nice street motor/ daily. Good luck. If you wanna know my setup ill tell you.
Forget that spoon exhaust. Get a true 2.5 inch exhaust. **** the apexi noir will even be ok. It's quiet and stealthy. Stay away from anything smaller than 2.5 let that b18c breathe well!
