We had a client have us make a pair for him, and we decided to make a few sets to keep in stock for anyone else that may want a pair. These are made for fixed shock setups like the Koni/GC, Progress Coilovers..just to name a few. The top hats are designed for these setups to provide more travel, and are often used on the EF/CRX chassis.

These are powdercoated black, and come with new hardware for an easy and straighforward installation. These were machined out of 6061 Aluminum, and come with our hardened rubber bushings.

Different lengths are not available, from my memory they are about 50mm tall. We are not quite sure how often we will be offering these as most are made to order. These are simply some extra that we put together for those like you that may want a set. Once they are sold out, not sure when we will have the opportunity to put together anymore as our schedule is pretty busy with our custom coilover systems.

Yummy. AMR always seems to make a quality product. Why did you all decide to go with hardened rubber instead of polyurethane?

 

Long term reliability. Our bushing supplier has been providing us bushings for 7 years without issue. We like to provide our clients with parts with proven reliability. We have poly bushings that will fit, but they are not proven. We don't use our clients as guinea pigs like many companies out their that sell cheap, and inferior products. We like to keep things stupid simple here, and provide a price point that is reasonable for the quality of product, and customer support we put behind it.

As you probably noticed we were not the first to the game for many things such as our camber kits, and these top hats. **** their is a long list of products we have developed that have yet to even be released. This isn't a get rich quick deal for us, we are passionate about providing quality products, and providing all our clients with a product that is worth their hard earned money. Simple as that. These are the same bushings we use in our quality custom coilover systems. If you have read we have NEVER EVER had 1 single blown production damper in 7 yeasr! Ofcourse we are going to use the same bushing as the reliability has proven itself. It would clearly be stupid for us to change something that simply works. Have a good weekend, thank for the post. We are not the type of company to rush development of products, and clients orders...even though we may feel their may be a demand or something we might be missing...we are not driven by that.

 

QFT. Hard rubber>Poly when it comes to street cars imo. I wish more companies had your mentality. Unfortunately the industry is going the other direction. Are you making more batches of these or are they all sold out? Wish i had the money for a set right now. But priorities come first unfortunately...

 

The only poly bushings we approve is the ones used in the Function 7 Lower Control Arms, as they are the only company that has proven the reliability of their custom urethane mix. I rather not take chances, and use a supplier who has proven their reliability and service to us so we can pass on the quality and service to our end user.

Well a lot of people are trying to copy our business model and have much more money than us, but people are smart these days..and can smell when **** stinks. We have worked hard in the 7 years to prove both the reliability, and performance of our dampers, and also make sure we were not the next bandwagon. We are not the next trend, we are not the next bandwagon, we are just a company that IS producing and designing quality parts...and are here for the long term. We let our products do most of the talking, and we make our clients happy one at a time. Again keeping is simple is how we do things. It is unfortunate though that people are cheap, and will continue to support these other brands, and new ones..it is the nature of the beast. I guess pretty colors, and a cheap price is the ticket these days. I almost question if I should start another side gig haha. Some of these companies make it seem like taking candy from a baby...especially when you know what I know. Even when you have proven reliability right in front of your face you will have some dude try another brand just for kicks. Well I value my money, and we value our clients hard earned money. We just will continue to focus on the things that are important to us, and how we implement these to our products. We value clients like you who understand what we are trying to do, and what we offer. Their are still many people that share your values, and your opinion, and that is why we continue to be busy as we are. All is not lost, but I do hate seeing people purchase parts only to not be happy, and end up purchasing another brand which they should have ended up purchasing in the first place.

Anyways, Yes we are going to be assembling more of these units in the next couple weeks. We will be picking up a few sets on Monday from the powdercoaters, but those have all been sold. We will be preparing another batch at the end of next week. Thank you.
