I just had a wreck...yup that pretty little teg in an earlier post is now garbage. The lucky part....75 dollar ticket, 4 hour class, no points, and insurance stays put. Opinions on what to do w/ the insurance company are needed. See sig for the setup. Options, we leave the sc on, and ask for money. 2- we pull the charger off, put the stock IM back on, and try to sell the sell the charger. I either want a turbo gsr or turbo lude. Opinions?

It was a 7 car line up thing. One car into the other into the other etc etc.... And we were all going like 50, so it was pretty ugly. So I should take all the parts off? Dont **** me, this is alot of dough.

take off all the parts and return it to stock. Sell the charger and put together a custom turbo setup and slap it on a used gsr with good compression. I'm sure you'll love it

 

Turbo h22a is out. Internals are weak apparently. Hows a turbo GSR? Ive also heard a JRSC'ed GSR absolutly flies. Which would you go for if they were both under 17k?

Just get a gsr and use ur supercahrger, you will prolly lose money if you sell it and buy turbo, kinda senseless to me.

 

go here http://www.solid-technology.com/ and check the project cars and look at the turbo gsr. It's getting 296 hp and 221 lb/ft of torque at 5000 feet on stock internals It's been alive and kicking hard for about a year now. Oh yeah, this is a local shop and I've seen the car personally and it's in perfect condition, good compression and everything. HTH

 

GSR and Ls blowers are different. Otherwise I would. Im thinkin turbo GSR. Other opinions?
