Hey guys, I got an eBay fog light kit, it wasn't one of the really cheap ones because I still believe in you get what you pay for. But anyways, I started wiring the harness, I connected the brown male connector from the fog light harness to the brown female connector that was located behind the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. I was looking at a DIY online and the guy said the other end of that cable that was found behind the wiper reservoir is located somewhere near the fuse box in the dash. I searched for probably 20 minutes with a flashlight and could not find the returning end of this cable, can someone give me an idea of where it is?

 

Okay, to clarify, this is a picture from the guy's tutorial. I am looking for the male connector that I circled in this picture.

 

Here's mine, if I remember correctly that white wire with the brown plug at the end is the foglight connector. I think there's something else though let me go out and check once more.

 

That's not the one I was looking for I know that the fog light harness runs into the fuse box, but on my install there should be another brown male connector somewhere around the fusebox that came with the car itself, the other end comes out at the windshield wiper fluid reservior. Check my picture carefully to see what I mean

 

Oh. so it's OEM or has an OEM harness? There's a brown female connector with a blue wire near/behind/above the fusebox wrapped in blue tape (Honda factory blue tape you'll find that wrapping many accessory wires in the car) pull it out, connect the two, i think that should work (don't take my word!). I have depo fogs, which is why I plugged it into the fusebox.

 

Sweet, looked everywhere except behind the fuse box lol. Was expecting it to be bundled within that wiring mess around the fusebox. Thanks man!

You can cut that part off and tap it into your ignition(12v), make sure its your ignition or your fogs will stay on 24/7, Done this before and still have it and alot of people take this route
