Removing AC compressor
bought my 90 hatch (d15b2) and the original owner cut all AC lines.but did not take out compressor.i know its possible to take the compressor out and just swap in a shorter alternator belt.anyone know the part number for the smaller belt?
or would i be better off going and getting everything im missing for AC to work properly and put it all back together? ive already got a list of stuff to do already (currently have head in shop,getting new valve seals and a clean up,replacing piston rings,and head gasket,rear struts and coilovers) so im not leaning towards getting the AC back together.

Uh...the EF has a separate belt for the AC & alternator. To take the compressor out:
- just loosen the AC belt tensioner (see image)
- remove the belt
- unbolt & remove the compressor
- unbolt & remove the compressor mount w/ tensioner on it
Here's how to loosen the tensioner. You can reach the adjusting bolt through the motor mount brace with a 1/4" rachet + extension + 10mm deep socket:
- just loosen the AC belt tensioner (see image)
- remove the belt
- unbolt & remove the compressor
- unbolt & remove the compressor mount w/ tensioner on it
