i see a 92-95 but is there an actual diy for 96-00 manual doors and windows to power ??

looking to do this on my 96 DX hatch

looking to do this on my 96 DX hatch

all you need to do is get the complete wiring from a coupe it will just plug up. complete means eveything from motors , actuators, switches to all the way to fuse box on both driver and passenger side . also door locks will be in the same harness. the passenger side will be the hardest because the harness will disconnect at the passenger kick panel and you will have to remove the harness from psgr kick to fuse box on drivers side and that harness runs behind dash

Correction: wiring from a 96-98 Civic of any trim that has power doors and windows. Doesn't have to be a coupe.

or, just grab a universal kit off ebay. My buddy got a spal deluxe kit. I like the set up, because you mount the switches in the middle console, and you keep your window cranks, this way here if you ever lose power you still retain the ability to manually open the window. Basically you have manual power windows.

was $100 bucks, once you try to piece together a oem kit, your looking at 2-3x that cost.

i always thought it would be easier to just buy the whole door with the pw lock/window/mirrors lulz, could be wrong.
