You could most likely just clean the corrosion off, as for the completely rusted lines, if they're irreparable, just re-run them

How would I re-run them? should i just have a mechanic make them? or can I buy them Pre-made?

Thanks a lot for the link! I'm just not sure which ones I need. there are these 2 metal hoses that are attached to eachother, and they are attached to rubber hoses on both ends and one of them is leaking coolant. not sure what it's called though. if my description isnt enough, I can post pics later when i get out of work.

Remove the rubber lines, bring to Autozone, match them up, bring back to car, put back on?

you can also get samco brand hoses. They come in lengths. They arent fitted to honda OEM but they will fit/bend to the length you need and withstand the elements/temperatures

You could bypass the metal section and run a new rubber hose for the whole length. Your local auto parts store should carry that diameter rubber hose for less than 2 dollars per foot.

not sure what size that is. have any idea what that 16 would be? I'm thinking it's 16mm (5/8 in.)

Id be more concerned with say the line on the power steering pump that rusted.
that car looks like hell. every metal object under the hood looks like you pulled it from the seafloor. hows the rust on the frame/lines underneath? Your strut tops appear to be in pretty bad shape also. You also need a little p/s fluid, lol.

Before you go fixing her up, Id assess the stage of rust underneath that baby. If under the hood is that bad, I imagine under is horrific. Its going to get mighty expensive replacing all the rusted parts on that car.

As for the radiator hose in your pic. go to an auto store and match it up. Just hand it to the guy working there, and hell hand you a new one.

from what ive seen, under the car looks great! it was coated in something to keep it from rusting, not sure what, something black. but for $1400 this car was a GREAT score :D. its even got a saratoga glass sunroof. the only thing keeping it from driving right now is the coolant leak and i lost an axle the 3rd day i had it. im not too worried since everything is cheap for these cars, and most of it i can do myself and with help from my uncle who has been building hondas for years. also ive already ordered a meter of 16mm hose :D and i got 40 assorted clamps on the way. I also have a racing jack coming, and ill post pics of under the car when i go to do the front axles.

the parts may be cheep but fixing rust isnt. if you go to a shop it gets pretty expensive pretty quick. unless you are good at welding and body work. but if i were you i would take off alot of those rusty parts and sand them and spray them down with rustolium paint. and any rust of the actual body in the bay i would do the same.

This site is good for ordering Honda parts cuz they seem to be slightly lower than dealer prices but also after u select ur vehicle it has a diagram of the parts. It's helped me before identifying stuff under the hood. Hope it helps
