which catalytic converter, oil pressure
Sup honda-tech. I was trying to find out which catalytic converter I'd need that would fit into my 98 Civic with a JDM 97 ITR motor. The factory converter form my D series length is perfect but the flange that fits with the manifold is too small. The triangle connection is fine tho with the Apexi. So please help me out with which converter I'd need. Alsop are there scanners that reads JDM ECU? I'm trying to find out which codes im getting. Most likely EVAp and 02 sensor. one thing also is where I can get an oil pressure switch for the JDM ITR. The light stays on when I connect the harness. Oil pressure is good however but the switch looks very different from the USDM kinds, the JDM looks like a big assembly piece compared tot he small pressure switches. Thanks again!
The oil pressure switch from a usdm type r should be the same thread pitch, although the switch itself might look different, it opperates the same... In the matter of the Cat. Converter, you could use an aftermarket brand, like edelbrock or something similar.... If you prefer a OEM one, you could get an integra Cat. from a junk yard and have them modify the flanges, or use a adjustable test pipe like Blox... Good luck
Ok so should I get an integra aftermarket for a like 94-96 integra? Also which short ram intake would I need to get a good fitment on the chassis with a 98 coupe civic with the type r motor? A civic si intake model or integra models for it to fit tb and bolt right on place. Thanks!
