as title states... Looking at getting a used top mount but the wastegate is on the US drivers side of the collector. As I'm not running a backdoor intercooler I fear the wastegate is dead in the middle of where I would have the compressor housing clocked... Not to mention the heat soak from the wastegate. I can combat a good portion of that with ceramic coating and heat wrap but not all of it.

the manifold in question... I guess I could make an elbow but I would be concerned about boost stability. So if you could post up pics of a similar setup that does not run a backdoor intercooler it would be greatly appreciated.

you should be able to just **** the turbo at a slight angle to clear the waste gate and then have a J that goes down towards the frame rail. might take a little bit of fitting but I don't see why it would really be an issue.

I just remembered I have my top mount for my sr20 kayoing around. I'll put my Turbo on it and just hold the wastegate towards the compressor side of the turbo. Should give me a rough idea. I'm running a 25g compressor housing so the compressor outlet bends back towards the centerline of the Turbo. That's my only concern
