Default 96 itr clutch help please

I posted this in the trans section but no help has been offered.. i have a 96 its swap and trans and i need a new clutch (slipping) ive already decided on the exedy oem replacement due to price and my goal orthe car, my question is ive always been under the assumption that a b series clutch is a b series clutch however on thmotorsports a 99 si and 97 its clutch has a 30 dollar difference, i assume its due to the trq rating but conidering im on a budget would it matter which clutch i order. my mods are intake header and exhaust nothing more and will stay that way, thanks for the help guys, i need to find out so can order it, car is almost undrivable

But the itr is a different price from a regular reg. Two different parts. Is this due to trq specs for the motor. Thatsvmy real question

I personally don't think so, I would not be worried about it. >Ebay<

the specific itr clutch is like 2mm smaller! i have no idea what the deal is with it, why they have two part numbers or much of anything else. i ran a standard ls/gsr clutch on one with no issue. what the difference is in feel? who knows.

with the stage one selling just over $200 now that's also a consideration if you wanted a stronger disc and plate

did you call exedy directly? if you called a vendor you probably were bullshit to buy whatever they had in stock.

the only guess i MIGHT have on why the itr clutch is 2mm smaller is with oem. if honda spec'd a different clutch on the itr that happened to be 2mm smaller then it's possible that exedy in all their oem copying glory also did the same.
