I'm hoping you might be able to help me -- does anyone know of particular brands/sources of timing belt & water pump kits that are recommended or to be avoided for a 2000 Civic LX?

For the pump, OEM, period. For the belt, OEM or Gates.

Do you or anyone else have a link to anywhere on the web where someone's selling an all OE timing belt kit that includes all of the gaskets and seals?

 

eBay never hurts, just make sure you know what you're getting. This ad looks legit. Alternatively, you could get the parts straight from your local dealership, or from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. You can find a Gates timing belt literally all over the internet.

Finding it is starting to branch into the "Google it" range of questions, but hopefully this is helpful.
