Default My Accord Drives Like a 5 Speed

This is my first ever Honda, and it's an 02 Accord. I've always been driving Toyotas and still do. They are the best when it comes to quality. But anyways, I just bought an 02 Accord. Here's the thing, when accelerating, the car sorta jerks forward, like when driving a 5 speed. I have an automatic. I know it's changing gears, but it's not suppose to jerk forward right? Is this normal for a Honda? My other cars do not jerk forward at all, and it has over 135K and 180k miles; they are Toyota's. The previous owner replaced with a new transmission, and it has only 30K miles now. So, let me know thanks guys and gals.

Is it a V6? The 6th gen (98-02) V6 Accord automatics are well known for being problematic.

If it is a V6, my suggestion is to sell it and stick with your Toyota.

Open the hood and look at the engine. Have someone else put the car in reverse, then again in drive. If the engine moves significantly (3 inches or so), then you have a bad motor mount. If not, then you might have a failing transmission.

I will try that later, but the transmission is only 30K miles? The previous owner replaced the transmission at 63K, and now it has 93K. Is the new transmission going bad?

Is the new transmission new or is it from the junkyard?
