Just had timing belt done , shop advises timing is good.

From a stop the car has no power until I ride it to 2k then the power is there like normal.
It will slowly putt to 2k pissing people off behind me .

idle is good
No misfire
No cel
Egr was cleaned prior for smog
Car ran fine before timing belt replacement ,
Needed front main seal replaced so I did everything for a few hundred


Any takers?

 

have you confirmed that timing is good? just remove the top timing cover to expose the cam gear. and put it to tdc from lower crank mark. and see if cam is tdc as well. also make sure your dizzy rotor is tdc

Well seems to be off, advanced the timing 100% towards firewall on dizzy, car runs almost 100% now
