93 civic sedan k swap help plz
Okay before anybody stats talking smack about how I dont know anything about Honda's I'm new to Honda. I just got interested in them and I just bought myself a 93 civic sedan and I been looking at other Honda civics and i found out about k series engine and I'm wondering if its possible to put a K24z7 in my civic. my civic currently has a d16z6 and I'm not sure if a k24 will fit. Can someone please tell me if it does or doesn't and if not what k series engine could fit or I might either go b18 or RWD swap my civic and put s2000 engine in it I just want to do something different with my civic compared to the ones I seen.
No not going to drift it but if I ever pick up drifting i wouldn't mind building a project car for RWD civic. just that RWD launch better of the line since weight transfer doesn't slow it down compared to a FWD
Really?? Cuz this is what happens when I google it

are you doing the work yourself or is someone who knows Hondas helping you?? The reason I ask is because if you didn't know that a k24 would fit in your car, I would not attempt that swap. There is way more to it then just putting the motor in your car. The Same goes for the RWD swap. If you set on doing a Swap, do a B swap they are easier and way less $$$$$ then a K or RWD swap. + since you new to Honda B's are a good first swap to do, and after you complete the swap, if you still want more power you can get a Turbo Kit. Just my 2 cents

You need not to attempt any of these dreams you have...
#1. k24 is obviously possible but you need to question if you can afford it and if you can do it yourself if not, you need to addd the cost of installation.
#2. if you are questioning which to swap then just save with the headaches and go with the b series (personal favorite is gsr) because you need to take into consideration that a k24 in a civic WILL have issues with compatabilitiy require some custom modifications
heres a taste of prices for a k series swap:
k engine- online retails for around 4-5k but you can find em for about 1.5-2k (look hard)
k axles- $300
k ecu- $800-2k (aem is preferred)
k motor mounts- $400
thats just the main stuff not to mention if you decide to upgrade fuel setup, intake setup, wether you want to go turbo, it can get quite pricey. id say 5k is the least amount you can pay for a k swap in a civic
