Default R1 Coilovers - and help with shock selection

I recently acquired a set of R1 Coilovers for my 91 Hatch. I am new to Honda's and have never heard of R1 as an aftermarket company. Does anybody else have these installed? Do you like them? I am also looking for suggestions on shocks/struts. I want to be able to have a strut that I can run with the coils at stock height or close to it for winter then be able to bring it down a little for summer. What is a good damper that will handle this? Thanks!

Anybody have pictures of a ef hatch on R1 Coilovers?

I am pretty sure R1 is some kind of off brand. As fluff puff is to marshmello.

Yah, don't waste money on cheap stuff. You get what you pay for. Go with ground controls. Also as far as shocks go, you can stick with KYB(cheap),Tokico(a little more expensive-not that great of a ride), or the infamous Koni yellows. These seem to work the best with the ground contorls IMO.

Thanks for all your input guys! The R1's were actually given to me!!!! The coilover assembly is nice but the springs are mystery springs. No rate on them. I think what I am going to do is use the R1 kit and buy some custom rate eibach's. Then I think I will use the KYB AGX's....Any experience with those?

My friend had them. He said he loved them for the price, but still not great. A little bumpy. I guess it depends on how low you lower your car.
