Default Shift Linkage Question, Please Help

So I just got back from vacation, and went to put gas in my car. Well on my way home My linkage dropped off where it connects to the transmission.

When I got the car home I jacked it up and put it back together with a bolt I had at home and now it goes into every gear and everything, but in every gear it the shifter sways from side to side worse than just regularly when it is in neutral.

I was wondering what would cause this and what I need to fix it

I own a 94 Del Sol
w/B18B1
w/GSR LSD Tranny

Thanks in Advance

check no 8 in the picture above, that's usually causing side to side play when in gear.

^ this. I didn't have the problem side to side greatly but when I put in a dual-bend integra shifter into my Civic. The rubber boot was ripping apart and I forgot to the grease the shifters ball, my shifter had a vertical play of like an inch and I thought it was falling out of the car. Problem could be different though as OP stated it was near the linkage end that meets the transmission. Doesn't hurt to inspect the bushings and other rubber parts near the shifter though.

Just that? You could try to call them up and ask them about it.
